well, if you think about it. since ive been here, ive been IN A GUILD , PLAYING, AND RAIDING with..

Sporkz (jessie)
akasukti (andrew)
Op/hateraid (pat)
peaceecraft (james)
regan/mentoz (jack)
and chainy

ALL since ive been here. we've all been in a guild together for these past what, 2-3 months? the ONLY thing that has changed is our name.

in that time, well, id say we were pretty succesful. seeing as were all in about 4/5 tier 6/BT equivalent for almost all of our specs.

so yea =/

the problem with this is either..

a) i get banned then unbanned a week later , guild falls apart.
b) some other guild , LIKE method (or soulstorm, not dissing you guys in anyway at all) is created, lots of people leave for it...for whatever reason? (apparently i pick shitty guild names, WHO KNEW)
c) or people just cant put up with my yelling/screaming

oh well, life goes on.

the most important reason is mostly: most people are here for fun, not to raid ... so u can get a raid guild (like method atm) but most people are online, but not joining guild runs or w/e ... sad but true

exactley, thats why everytime ive tried and created a raiding guild, its been the same few members who join, and rarely any new ones. We try and introduce new people into our enviroment of core raiding, try getting them in vent (thats how we all bonded, and how was stay as a team), and try and get shit done.

but, never really works because not alot of people are into that. hense our 7 man raiding team

to be honest i dont think it ever will be, i mean, no offense to anyone at all, but now a days players will drop there guild/guild leader and run as fast as they can to a new one, and it all depends on who promises them loot.

guilds arent suppose to be about getting geared, and only running instances that provide YOURSELF with a upgrade, its suppose to be about teamwork, helping one another out, and PROGRESSION and thats EXACTLEY what bubbleboy had.

ive been trying to replicate that same structure Bubbleboy had in his guild, unforunatley my anger gets the best of me most of the time. ive been told im a good leader tho, its just i need an assistant who can balance out my anger haha.

why do you think i run BT/Hyjal almost everyday? because i need loot? no, i do it because i want to help out the others by gearing THEM up, in hopes that they may be there for when i want to kill bosses that arent some tank and spank ez mode teddybear .

well... you should still be in a general guild then shoudn't you? (not saying method, or any other guild) I mean, all the geared people at the moment, should join 1 guild and invite anyone that is willing to raid. and help them gear up. that's my opinion, and that's what we (method) are trying to achieve ... we only allowe 2/5 D3 cause that means you at least raided ZA or Kara. where alot PUG's go these days. but as face said. it will be Never like retail, where everyone is bonded to a guild.

well you see sometimes its not about how geared they are, its about how they wanna play the game and how skilled they are. When we picked up Andrew and Jessie they were in the crappiest gear ive ever seen, but they provided us with a vent server, we got to know them, found out what there all about, and look at em now.

you just gotta know people on a more personal level to stick together as a team.

also true ... but it stays a fact, to many people see it as a fun server to succeed in greater raids.
